On Friday, December 12th, River House held its first Winter Wonderland Fashion Show. Clients were escorted down the runway by Brunswick Middle School Students and River House staff members. Click below to see a clip from the show!
River House is teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association and will host “Living with Alzheimer’s for Middle-Stage Caregivers” at 11:45AM on Wednesdays, July 9th, July 23rd and August 6th! Join us for this three part series and hear caregivers and professionals discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s. River House members kicked off “Luck of the Irish Week” with a visit from the Greenwich Pipe Band. Click below to watch a clip of their performance. Throughout the week members enjoyed programs that highlighted the beauty and culture of Ireland. The week concluded with a performance from the Lynn Academy Irish Dancers.
During the afternoon of Friday, February 7th the students at Brunswick School volunteered at River House. While they were here, they participated in a round of BINGO, cheered on the GADC bowling team and helped with a trivia game! Click here for more information on volunteering at River House.

Five years ago, Greenwich Adult Day Care moved into a new facility, River House. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. The clients and staff have enjoyed every moment since moving into this phenomenal building and look forward to enjoying many, many more wonderful years!
